This cedar blanket chest is beautifully constructed with a non slamming lid hinge system which will prevent those loud noises and hurt fingers. The underside of the lid is lined with aromatic cedar to give your expensive blankets full protection from moths and other insects. The wood has a clear-coat catalyzed lacquer finish for extra durability.
